Actualités - Vient de paraître : la revue "Furnace journal"

Le "Furnace journal" est la publication de l'Ironbridge International Institute for Cultural Heritage de l'Université de Birmingham.
Cet institut vient de faire paraître le 3ème numéro de son journal consacré au patrimoine industriel dans le monde, comprenant des contributions sur les chemins de fer brésiliens et autrichiens, la dentellerie à Nottingham, la préservation des bâtiments en Chine, la revitalisation urbaine aux Etats-Unis et au Royaume-Uni ainsi qu'un article sur l'héritage culturel de Moby Dick.

Le quatrième numéro devrait voir le jour en septembre de cette année et sera consacré à l'éducation au patrimoine mondial.
Le cinquième numéro est d'ores et déjà en chantier. Un appel à contribution est lancé.
Launching of the 3rd issue of furnace, the postgraduate journal of Ironbridge International Institute for Cultural Heritage.
The theme of this issue is 'World Industrial Heritage' and features papers on railways in Brazil and Austria, lace making in Nottingham, building preservation in China, urban regeneration in the US and the UK and the cultural legacy of Moby Dick.
Thank you all for the positive responses and submissions from Argentina, Austria, Brazil, China, France, Japan, Taiwan, the US and the UK, it was much appreciated, and we look forward to your further contributions or submissions for future issues of the journal.
